From 23 June 2025, Mounjaro (tirzepatide), a new weight loss medication, will be available to some patients through GP practices. This medication is part of a carefully managed NHS roll out and is not available to everyone.

Midwifery-run clinics are held on Wednesday AFTERNOONS.
Our district nurses provide support and advice to patients whilst recovering from a heart attack.
Our practice nurses undertake cervical smears.
Our district nurses provide continence advice and support for men and women.
Advice is available from the practice nurses or doctors.
Nexplanon implants can be fitted at the surgery.
If you know you would like to have a Nexplanon implant fitted or removed, please leave a message and contact phone number with one of our receptionists, and you will be contacted to arrange an appropriate appointment.
Clinics are held at Park Parade for patients who suffer from long-term conditions such as heart problems, asthma, diabetes etc.
We have highly skilled practitioners who can assess and treat many conditions normally seen by a GP. They can also prescribe medications. Please click here to see a list of these conditions.
Local pharmacies offer advice and support, the NHS website and North Tyneside Council.
Baby immunisation clinics are offered every Tuesday by Dr Twemlow. Checks are performed as and when necessary.
