From 23 June 2025, Mounjaro (tirzepatide), a new weight loss medication, will be available to some patients through GP practices. This medication is part of a carefully managed NHS roll out and is not available to everyone.

Our practice nurses undertake cervical smears.
Our nurses provide continence advice and support for men and women.
Advice is available from the practice nurses or doctors.
Contraceptive implants and coils cannot be fitted at this surgery. However, you can receive an implant or coil within our NPC North Tyneside neighbourhood.
If you know you would like to have a contraceptive implant or coil fitted or removed, please leave a message and contact phone number with one of our receptionists, and you will be contacted to arrange an appropriate appointment.
Northumbria Healthcare’s One-to-One centre at North Tyneside General Hospital also offer sexual health and contraceptive care.
Clinics are held at Park Parade for patients who suffer from long-term conditions such as heart problems, asthma, diabetes etc.
Local pharmacies offer advice and support, the NHS website and North Tyneside Council.
Baby immunisations are offered by our practice nurses. Post-natal and 6-to-8 week baby checks are performed by Dr Twemlow and Dr Trafford.
