From 23 June 2025, Mounjaro (tirzepatide), a new weight loss medication, will be available to some patients through GP practices. This medication is part of a carefully managed NHS roll out and is not available to everyone.

Midwifery-run clinics are held on Wednesdays.
Our district nurses provide support and advice to patients whilst recovering from a heart attack

Our district nurses provide continence advice and support for men and women
If you are based in England under the NHS, you now have a legal right to choose your mental healthcare provider and your choice of mental healthcare team. This important right means that, for instance, should you decide the waiting time for your ADHD assessment is too long, then you can choose alternative providers.

Contraceptive devices (copper coil or Mirena coil) or Nexplanon implants can be fitted at the surgery.
If you know you would like to have a coil or Nexplanon fitted or removed, please leave a message and contact phone number with one of our receptionists, and you will be contacted to arrange an appropriate appointment.
Clinics are held at Nelson Medical Group for patients who suffer from long-term conditions such as heart problems, asthma, diabetes, etc.
