We would like to let patients know that essential boiler replacement works will be taking place at our Amble site from next week. The project is expected to last around four weeks and is scheduled to be completed by 16 October.

To ensure services continue as normal, a temporary boiler will be installed during the works. There are no planned power shutdowns, and we do not anticipate any disruption to heating or hot water services. While some noise may be unavoidable, contractors will make every effort to keep this to a minimum. The contractors are aware of our Learning Disability clinics on Tuesday afternoons and will take additional steps to ensure noise is reduced during this time.

During the project, one disabled parking bay will be unavailable as it will be fenced off for safety reasons. If you require accessible parking and experience any difficulties, please speak to a member of staff, who can direct you to alternative arrangements via the delivery bay at the rear of the building.

We expect parking disruption to be minimal, as there will be only a small number of contractor vehicles on site at any one time.
